In addition, regular practice enhances the ability of our brains to maintain blood flow. This prevents blood clots and promotes circulation. Moreover, it helps prevent heart attacks and strokes. Lastly, badminton stimulates the production of endorphins in the body, thus promoting feelings of happiness and well-being.

Badminton and Some Precautions

There are various health risks associated with badminton. These include injuries caused by collisions between the shuttlecock and the head, neck, chest or limbs. Other injuries include sprain and strain of the wrist and fingers. Over time, frequent use of these parts may cause arthritis. Since badminton involves repeated jumping and quick movements, muscle strains are quite common. Also, if the feet slip while running, ankle sprains may occur. Similarly, frequent contact with the ground can lead to knee and leg problems. Frequent falls and falls involving contact with hard objects may result in broken bones.
