Starting our list of the best young Brazilian soccer players is actually the youngest. Henrik, who plays as a winger, is only 19 years old. Despite his years of giving, he has already progressed beyond Brazilian football in the past September transfer to Marseille in Ligue 1.
The move came despite the fact that Henrique only had just over 1,000 minutes of playing to his name with Botafogo as he was involved in a goal every 143 minutes. Chances were limited in France but with speed, tricks and the edge of arrogance in his game, it is only a matter of time until Henrique starts to find success.

It’s a tough life being a Brazilian right-back. Are you Cafu or Dani Alves? Either way, the bar is too high. We are not sure that Guga will reach the level of his aforementioned countrymen, but the 22-year-old should expect a very solid career; Lots of them will be on the top soccer table, too.
The Atletico Mineiro full-back originally started with Avai Futebol Clube in the second division but has since been promoted.
Will he be one of the best defensive players? No, maybe not. However, he has confidence in the ball and quality in the attacking areas, two things that are very important for a modern full-back. Guga has already been linked to some European clubs so watch this space.
No. 3. Igor Gomez
The attacking midfielder isn’t Sao Paulo 22 for another week but Real Madrid are already known for calling him in for his signature. why is that? Well, if you judge him completely based on his end product goals and aids, you might be a little upset; He has only six goals and six assists in 87 matches.
Watch him play a few full matches, however, the reason why he’s thinking about it so hard will become more clear. Gomez is the man who dictates play, he sets the tempo for how São Paulo plays, and without him, the team simply doesn’t perform at the same level. Don’t get us wrong, Real Madrid would be a huge step forward but one day he could wear the Los Blancos shirt.
No. 2. Brenner
Next on our list of the best young Brazilian footballers right now is Brenner. Brenner, who recently rejected European options in favor of A Moving to MLS with CincinnatiHe already has 24 big goals to his name thanks to his time with São Paulo in his home country.
The 21-year-old prefers to play as a central striker as he can perform shoulder surgeries and run backwards. He has qualities to it; Brenner has speed over short distances, good touch, and often a clinical finish. We doubt he won’t be in America for long.
No. 1. Pepê
baby [pictured above] He is the oldest player on this list at 24 years old. He also already has a huge boost compared to the others on the list. why? Well, in the summer, he will be arriving in Portugal as Porto recently paid $17 million for his signature. The young Gremio plays in a wide midfield, favoring the left side.
He contributes well from there as well, which is a huge positive for Porto fans given that it’s easy for players in those positions to lose. His current stats for the year are nine goals and five assists in 31 games.
