Tottenham Hotspur join the race to sign Anthony Gordon?


Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the list of clubs wanting to sign Everton striker Anthony Gordon.

The 21-year-old winger has been closely linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer after Chelsea and Newcastle United bid.

Magpies’ bid is believed to have been in the region of £35m – turned down, while the Toffees have also rejected offers of £40m and £45m from the Blues.

according to football insideThe Merseyside side could face more interest in the youngster, as Tottenham prepare to join the race.

North Londoners believe they can agree a deal to sign for England’s Under-21 team before deadline day.

Although Frank Lampard’s side might consider letting Gordon leave the club if they receive an offer somewhere in the region of £50m.

Gordon has a contract until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
